Who are you and what do you do? – I am Dennis
Klaustermeyer and I work at United Local Schools in technology in charge of the
network and any other technology we have.

What is your primary goal for taking this
course? – It is part of the Instructional Media program and I am also
interested in the use of digital media and technology by students as a result
of my job.
3.
What is your philosophy of education? – All
students can learn and need to have differentiated instruction if need be so
that they can learn in the best way(s) possible.
4.
What do you see as the greatest benefit of using
technology and/or digital media in the classroom? – Using technology and
digital media gives students access to information instantaneously and globally
while also engaging them in learning.
5.
What is your biggest concern or challenge with
using technology and/or digital media in the classroom? – We need to make sure
that the students stay on task during its usage. We also need the financial resources
available for needed upgrades.
6.
Provide an example of how you currently use
technology and/or digital media in the classroom. – I am not currently a
teacher but I have set up mobile laptop carts for students/staff to use to
access needed web and network resources.
7.
How does your classroom today differ from when
you were the same age as your students? – Classrooms are more engaging both
with and without technology. Teachers
are making their students active participants in learning process.
